Fabulous house, perfect for our party of guests

Finchcocks was the perfect house for our stay...we were celebrating an 80th birthday with 18 family members and needed 7 doubles and 2 twins. All of the bedrooms were en suite and we had loads of space and facilities. It was a wet weekend but managed to play tennis during a short dry spell, as well as lots of indoor table tennis! The house was spotless, the kitchen full of everything you could think of (with multiple fridges and cookers) and John was very helpful explaining how everything worked. Could have asked for a better weekend

Everything was just perfect!!

Stunning place! A group of 30 plus people went for a 3 nights stay. We made great use of the tennis court and the huge open plan kitchen. All rooms had ensuite. Every room was clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything you would need for a big family gathering. Having a washing machine at the premises was very handy. Everything was just perfect!!

This is a real gem!

This is a real gem! We had a wonderful stay here - large group of adults and children. Beautiful house with large open spaces and large bedrooms so lots of options depending on your group size. The grounds are perfect with tennis courts. We went out of season so unfortunately the pool was closed but this would have been the icing on the cake. We enjoyed a lovely walk to the national trust (approx 25 mins each way) and eating in the local pubs. Would definitely recommend to others! The only minor point was that we booked the silent disco which was an additional cost (quite pricey on top of the booking) and the equipment was slightly outdated so it took us a while to find the correct plug point. I'm sure others may not have had the correct one with them.

Celebrating an 80th Birthday with our family, we couldn’t have found a more perfect house to celebrate and spend time together.
The Oast is perfect, so much space with large comfortable en-suite bedrooms. Modern and clean.
The kitchen is huge and stocked with everything you could need.
Lovely sofas to relax on with a glass of wine. The owners have thought of everything.
There is even a table tennis table to play with inside if it is raining.
We loved playing tennis and the children enjoyed the heated swimming pool very much.
We would all highly recommend Finchcocks Oast and hope to return one day for another stay.

We had a lovely week away with all the family celebrating a 60th birthday. There is plenty of room and the house is fully equipped for everything you could possibly need home from home. Very clean and tidy also!! John is also very helpful and was on hand to help if we asked. Would definitely recommend and return.

We went as a group of 32 for weekend stay

We went as a group of 32 for weekend stay. Additional beds were set up as per our request. Cottage was well equipped and clean for our stay.Swimming pool was not in use as out of season.Didn't explore surrounding area much as we were content indoors.

Finchcocks is everything you could ask for from a group property

Finchcocks is everything you could ask for from a group property. As a group we have been hiring houses for over 10 years and Finchcocks is undoubtedly the best we have used. The property is modern, clean, superbly equipped and very convenient for the multiple local castles, houses and gardens. The pool was very good, and was warmer than some public pools. Would definitely recommend.

A brilliant place – very comfortable, warm and well equipped

A brilliant place - very comfortable, warm and well equipped. The weather was not good (Scotney Castle was closed because of high winds) so we spent more time indoors than expected. Table tennis was a big hit!
